Quick Hits on the Titans From Friday of Broncos Week

221111-quick-hits

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Friday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Denver Broncos at Nissan Stadium.

Here's a look at some Titans topics in quick-hitting fashion:

-Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who has missed the last two games with an ankle injury, was back on the practice field again on Friday.

It was Tannehill's first full week of work since suffering the injury on October 23 against the Colts.

Titans HC Mike Vrabel said Tannehill was limited in Friday's practice, however, after being a full participant on Thursday.

Tannehill is listed as QUESTIONABLE on the final Injury Report.

"Good," Vrabel said when asked how Tannehill's week went. "He was limited today and we'll see how it goes here the next couple of days. … I think he's making progress and feeling better."

-Receiver Treylon Burks was back on the practice field again on Friday.

On Wednesday, the Titans designated Burks to return to practice from the team's Injured Reserve list. The move opened his 21-day window to be activated.

A first-round draft pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Burks was placed on Injured Reserve on October 8 after suffering a foot/toe injury in the team's October 2 game at the Colts.

Here's a clip of Burks after practice:

And here's a clip of Burks warming up before practice:

-Titans cornerback Elijah Molden practiced again on Friday as well.

Last week, the team designated Molden to return to practice from the team's Injured Reserve list. Like Burks, the team has to make a decision on his status by tomorrow.

I also chatted with Molden after today's practice:

-Vrabel ruled out five players for Sunday's game.

-Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons (ankle) did not practice again on Friday and he's been ruled OUT for Sunday.

-Edge rusher Bud Dupree, who didn't finish Sunday's game at Kansas City because of lingering issues related to his hip injury, did not practice again on Friday and he's been ruled OUT for Sunday.

-Inside linebacker Zach Cunningham (elbow) did not practice again on Friday and he's been ruled OUT for Sunday.

-Titans safety Amani Hooker, who suffered a shoulder injury vs the Texans and did not play vs the Chiefs, did not practice again on Friday and he's been ruled OUT for Sunday.

-Defensive back Josh Thompson (knee) did not practice again on Friday and he's been ruled OUT for Sunday.

-Defensive lineman Teair Tart (illness) returned to practice on Friday and he's good to go.

-Defensive lineman Denico Autry (not injury related) was back on the practice field on Friday and he's good to go.

-Guard Aaron Brewer (toe) was back on the practice field on Friday and he's good to go.

-Cornerback Kristian Fulton (hamstring) was back on the practice field on Friday. He's listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game.

-Running back Derrick Henry (not injury related) returned to practice on Friday and he's good to go.

-Running back Dontrell Hillard (groin) practiced again on Friday and he's good to go.

-Defensive back Lonnie Johnson (back) practiced again on Friday and he's good to go.

-Inside linebacker David Long Jr. (knee) practiced again on Friday and he's good to go.

-Defensive lineman Kevin Strong (ankle) practiced again on Friday. He's QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game.

-Titans fullback Tory Carter (neck), inactive the last three games, was back at practice on Friday and he's good to go.

-The Broncos released their updated Injury Report on Friday, and it looked like this: FB/TE Andrew Beck (hamstring), OLB Baron Browning (hip) and WR KJ Hamler (hamstring) are all OUT. OLB Nik Bonitto (illness), WR Kendall Hinton (illness), T Cameron Fleming (quad), S Jesse Simmons (knee), and CB Darius Phillips (illness) are all QUESTIONABLE.

-The Titans are scheduled to hold a walkthrough on Saturday before Sunday's game vs the Broncos.
