Quick Hits After Wednesday's Titans Practice

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Saint Thomas Sports Park to begin preparations for Sunday's game at the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Some quick hits after Wednesday's practice:

-The Injury Report this week is a long one for the Titans – it includes 21 players.

-Some good news: Receiver A.J. Brown, who didn't play against the Jets because of a hamstring injury, returned to practice on Wednesday. He was listed as a limited participant.

-Receiver Julio Jones, who didn't play against the Jets because of a hamstring injury, did not practice.

-Outside linebacker Bud Dupree, held out of the past two games with a knee injury, was also back on the practice field on Wednesday for the Titans. He was listed as a limited participant.

-Cornerback Caleb Farley, who has missed the last three games with a shoulder injury, was also back on the practice field on Wednesday for the Titans. Farley was listed as a full participant.

-Punter Brett Kern, who didn't play vs the Jets because of a right groin injury, did not practice on Wednesday. Punter Johnny Townsend, who handled the punting duties against the Jets, practiced on Wednesday.

-Left tackle Taylor Lewan, who left Sunday's game with an ankle injury but later returned, did not practice on Wednesday. Lewan is listed with a "toe" on the Injury Report. He also appeared on last week's report with the toe, but he started the contest against the Jets.

-Guard Rodger Saffold, who left Sunday's game because of concussion symptoms, was on the practice field on Wednesday. Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said Saffold remains in the concussion protocol. Saffold was listed as a limited participant.

-Linebacker Rashaan Evans (quad) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

-Running back Darrynon Evans, moved to the team's "Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list earlier in the day, practiced with the team for the first time during the regular season.

Receiver Marcus Johnson and defensive Brady Breeze, moved to the team's "Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list last week, also practiced again on Wednesday.

This designation opened up a 21-day window for all three players to practice with the team, and they will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.

-Offensive lineman Aaron Brewer (knee) did not practice on Wednesday.

-Linebacker Jayon Brown (knee) did not practice on Wednesday.

-Center Ben Jones (neck) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

-Tight end Tommy Hudson (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday.

-Receiver Racey McMath (quad) did not practice on Wednesday.

-Receiver Nick Westbook-Ikhine (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday.

-Defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons (back) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

-Defensive lineman Denico Autry (hip) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

-Fullback Khari Blasingame (ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

-Outside linebacker Sharif Finch (concussion) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

-Defensive back Chris Jackson (shoulder) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

-Running back Jeremy McNichols (hamstring) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

-Defensive lineman Teair Tart (shoulder) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

-Outside linebacker John Simon and defensive lineman Caraun Reid, signed to the team's practice squad on Tuesday, practiced with the team for the first time during the regular season. It was a return to practice for Simon, who spent training camp with the team. Simon has been assigned No.59 – although he wore 41 on Wednesday. Reid has been assigned No. 97.

-The Jaguars released their Injury Report on Wednesday and it looked like this: DL Roy Robertson-Harris (ankle) and OLB Lerentee McCray (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. CB Tyson Campbell (toe) was limited in Wednesday's practice. RB Carlos Hyde (shoulder) was a full participant on Wednesday.

-The Titans are scheduled to practice again on Thursday and Friday before traveling to Jacksonville on Saturday for Sunday's game.

-In addition to Titans head coach Mike Vrabel, quarterback Ryan Tannehill, tackle Taylor Lewan, cornerback Kristian Fulton, safety Kevin Byard, defensive lineman Denico Autry and receiver Chester Rogers all talked to reporters before Wednesday's practice.
