Quick Hits After Thursday's Titans Practice

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Thursday at Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Kansas City Chiefs at Nissan Stadium.

Some quick hits on the Titans after Thursday's session:

-Titans receiver Julio Jones (hamstring), who left Monday's game early and did not practice on Wednesday, was back on the practice field on Thursday. Jones was listed as a limited participant on the team's Injury Report.

-Receiver A.J. Brown (illness) did not practice for the second day in a row.

-Linebacker Monty Rice (groin), who didn't play on Monday night vs the Bills, was limited in Thursday's practice for the second day on a row.

-Guard Rodger Saffold (shoulder) practiced on Thursday, this time as a full participant after being limited on Wednesday.

-Tackle Taylor Lewan (concussion) did not practice on Thursday for the second straight day.

-Kicker Randy Bullock (shoulder), who missed practice on Wednesday, returned to practice as a full participant.

-CB Chris Jackson (ankle), who missed practice on Wednesday, returned to practice on Thursday, and he was a full participant.

-RB Jeremy McNichols (ankle), who missed practice on Wednesday, returned to practice on Thursday and he was listed as a full participant.

-WR Chester Rogers (groin) did not practice for the second day in a row.

-FB Khari Blasingame (shoulder), who was limited in Wednesday's practice, practiced on Thursday in full.

-Running back Darrynton Evans, moved to the team's "Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" earlier this month, continues to practice with the team.

Center/guard Daniel Munyer and defensive lineman Larrell Murchison were added to the team's "Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list this week.

This designation opened up a 21-day window for all three to practice, and they will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.

-Defensive back Greg Mabin and offensive lineman Bobby Hart, added to the team's active roster on Wednesday, practiced on Thursday. Mabin has been assigned No. 30, Hart, No. 68.

Mabin, who previously spent time with the Titans, had been on the practice squad of the Arizona Cardinals. Hart had been on the practice squad of the Buffalo Bills.

-Punter Brett Kern remains on the team's Reserve/COVID-19 list, and he's still not practicing. Titans special teams coach Craig Aukerman said on Thursday he's hopeful Kern will return soon.

-The Chiefs released their second Injury Report on Thursday, and it looked like this: FB Michael Burton (pectoral), TE Jody Fortson (Achilles), WR Tyreek Hill (quad), LB Anthon Hitchens (tricep), and G Joe Thuney (hand) did not practice for the second day in a row. DE Chris Jones (wrist), TE Travis Kelce (neck), S Tyrann Mathieu (thumb/toe), and CB Charvarius Ward (quad) were all limited on Thursday. DT Jarran Reed (back), G Trey Smith (ankle), TE Blake Bell (back), T Orlando Brown (groin), DB Chris Lammers (shin), DT Khalen Saunders (ankle) and CB L'Jarius Sneed (wrist) were all full participants on Thursday.

-The Titans are scheduled to practice again on Friday before holding a walkthrough on Saturday before Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

-In addition to OC Todd Downing, DC Shane Bowen and ST coach Craig Aukerman, running back Derrick Henry, cornerback Jackrabbit Jenkins, cornerback Elijah Molden, tackle David Quessenberry, fullback Khari Blasingame and guard Nate Davis all spoke to reporters before practice on Thursday.
