Postcards From Hawaii: Titans Cheerleader Tandra Takes Part in Pro Bowl Draft

Hi Titans Nation!

Wow! That one word is the first thought that comes to mind to describe today! It was such a special day. We began the day with our morning breakfast/meeting. We split into several different groups to head to our own appearances.

We had two groups that went to military bases.  One group went to Kaneohe Marine Base, and my group went to Pearl Harbor! What an amazing place to visit! We were so honored to be in the presence of such inspirational people! We went to their field and taught their children some dance routines. They did so good! I could definitely see some potential future NFL cheerleaders in our presence! This charity event was an NFL Play 60 day, which encourages kids to stay active and is designed to tackle childhood obesity through school and after school programs.

Straight from there, we were off to the very first ever, unconferenced, 2014 NFL Pro Bowl Draft!! What an experience! We were divided into our lines and rotated spots throughout the draft so that every fan had the opportunity to see and interact with their favorite cheerleader! I was so excited to see some Titans fans! And the best news all night, I just so happen to be on the same team as our very own Alterraun Verner! Go Team Jerry Rice!

To have every player that I have admired and followed throughout the seasons in one place, at the same time, was a dream!

We ended the night being treated to a fabulous team dinner held at Roy's.

In Hawaii, with the best of the best in NFL football, along with some of the most amazing group of cheerleaders ever....I can't think of anything more amazing!

Can't wait to discover tomorrow's adventures!

Until next time!
