LB Tavai Added to Active Roster; LB Cudjoe-Virgil to IR

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Titans signed LB J.R. Tavai from their practice squad and placed LB Yannik Cudjoe-Virgil on injured reserve.

Tavai (6-2, 249) originally signed with the Titans as an undrafted free agent this past spring. He was injured in the first preseason game against Atlanta and was placed on injured reserve at final cuts. The team and player agreed to an injury settlement shortly after being placed on injured reserve and he re-signed with the team's practice squad in November.

He was a two-year starter at the University of Southern California, where he recorded 130 tackles, 24 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks during his college career.
