It's Bills Week: Quick Hits on the Titans After Friday's Practice, When QB Will Levis Was Limited and Listed as Questionable for Sunday's Game

QuickHits-(2)

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Friday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game at the Buffalo Bills.

Here's a look at today's developments:

-The Titans listed quarterback Will Levis as QUESTIONABLE on the team's final Injury Report after he was a limited participant in Friday's practice.

Levis, who suffered a right shoulder injury in the team's Week 4 contest against the Dolphins, was also listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, before he practiced in full on Thursday.

Earlier in the week, Levis said he's still rehabbing the injury when he's not on the practice field.

"I'm grinding my tail off," Levis said. "It's not like an 'It's over' type thing. It'll probably be something I'm dealing with here for a little bit and hopefully we can grind through it and get me to a spot where I'm feeling 100 percent. Doing the best I can with everything that they're having me do."

Veteran quarterback Mason Rudolph replaced an injured Levis against the Dolphins, and he finished the contest.

The team has since signed quarterback Trevor Siemian to the practice squad.

-Titans receiver Treylon Burks has been ruled OUT for Sunday's game after suffering a knee injury in Wednesday's practice.

Burks could be headed to Injured Reserve, Coach Brian Callahan said.

I wrote a separate story on Burks: CLICK HERE.

-Defensive lineman Keondre Coburn (knee) has been ruled OUT for Sunday's game.

-Running back Tyjae Spears (hamstring) has been ruled OUT for Sunday's game.

-Cornerback L'Jarius Sneed (quad) has been listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game.

Sneed didn't practice all week.

-Defensive lineman T'Vondre Sweat (knee) was back on the practice field on Friday after missing Thursday's session. Sweat was a full participant on Friday, and should be good to go for Sunday.

-Callahan said he expects running back Joshua Kelley, added to the practice squad earlier in the week, to be the team's third back on Sunday, alongside Tony Pollard and Julius Chestnut.

Kelley (5-11, 212) spent four seasons (2020-23) with the Los Angeles Chargers after being drafted in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Over his NFL career, he has totaled 320 carries, 1,148 rushing yards and six touchdowns in 54 games. He also has 50 receptions for 319 yards. After starting his college career at Cal – Davis, Kelley spent his final two seasons at UCLA, where he played 22 games and posted 2,303 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns on 454 carries.

-Safety Quandre Diggs will be the team's extra captain for Sunday's game.

-LB Cedric Gray, designated for return from Injured Reserve earlier in the week, practiced again on Friday.

Callahan said today the team doesn't plan to elevate Gray from Injury Reserve right now. The team has a three-week window to decide, and Callahan said the team plans to use the time. Gray practiced in full all last week as well, so the team has one more week to make a decision.

-The Bills released their final Injury Report of the week on Friday: RB Ray Davis (calf) and safety Mike Edwards (sick) are QUESTIONABLE. RB Darrynton Evans (hamstring) is DOUBTFUL.

-The Titans will hold a walkthrough practice on Saturday before traveling to Buffalo for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Next up: Buffalo Bills, noon CDT, Highmark Stadium.
