Chris Johnson Does Not Practice With Sore Thigh

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee running back Chris Johnson has gotten a day off from practice with a sore thigh.

Coach Jeff Fisher said Thursday they felt it was a good opportunity with the extra day to let Johnson rest up with the Titans (3-2) not playing until Monday night's game in Jacksonville (3-2). Johnson spoke to reporters after practice and said it was like a three-day weekend since he ran inside on the treadmill.

Receiver Damian Williams also missed practice with an illness. Defensive tackle Tony Brown (right knee) and receiver Justin Gage (left hamstring) also sat out.

Cornerback Jason McCourty (right forearm) practiced along with defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks (right knee).
