Tell us about a day in the life of Stefanie on a practice day.

A normal practice day for me is pretty long and demanding. I usually get up around 6am to get ready for the day. I then head off to work which typically lasts from about 8-5pm. After that I go directly to the gym to get my work out in for the day and prepare for practice. Our rehearsals usually begin around 7:45 and we finish at approximately 10:00pm. When I get home, I pack my clothes and get everything ready to do it all over again the next day. Then it's off to bed!

Your twin sisters, Kristin and Alyson are recently retired TTCs. You had the opportunity to cheer on the squad with one of them.  What is it like to be able to cheer with your sister?

My sisters and I have always shared a common interest in dancing and performing. So when I had the opportunity to share this amazing experience of being a Tennessee Titans cheerleader with one of them (Alyson) I was so ecstatic. We all become like sisters on the team so having a real one on the team was even better!

You were chosen as a line captain this year.  What leadership skills do you feel you possess and how will that help in your leadership role?

I feel so privileged to be able to take on the role of line captain this year. This is my 4th season on the team, so I feel like I will be able to lead through experience and example. I love our team this year, and I hope that I can help make it the best yet!

If you were forced to sing karaoke, what would you sing?

First of all, I am a horrible singer. But if I was forced I would probably sing a song everyone knows like "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor.

Charity appearances are an important part of being a TTC.  What is your favorite charity or cause and why?

The Humane Society would have to be my favorite charity. It's the largest animal protection organization. They work to reduce the suffering and improve the lives of all animals. I hope the TTC can become more involved in this organization.

Pink or red?

Red – Very sexy yet classy color.

Hip hop dance or lyrical dance?

Hip hop – I love watching more upbeat dance routines.

Strawberries or bananas?

Strawberries- Full of antioxidants.

Work out at the gym or work out at home?

Gym- much more motivating atmosphere.

What were you doing 10 years ago?

10 years ago I was a sophomore in high school and had just gotten my driver's license.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years I hope that I am successful in my career. I would also like to be happily married or at least on my way there. Family is very important to me so I hope one day to have children of my own. I would also love to be living at the beach.

What is the one exercise you cannot do without?

I love doing ab exercises.

Advice to young dancers:

Hard work pays off. Regardless of the setbacks you may face in life, if you love to dance and perform don't give up.

Who is your favorite choreographer and why?

Napoleon D'umo and Tabitha D'umo are currently one of my favorite choreographer duos. I love watching the show "So you think you can dance" and they frequent the show. Their style is a combination of hip hop and lyrical and their routines continue to keep me entertained.
