Dance teacher, entrepreneur, and mother, our next Cheerleader Spotlight is two-year veteran, Ashley A. Read on to find out all the details that make her so unique.

1.How long have you been a fan of the Tennessee Titans?
I am a native of Nashville and can remember growing up without any professional teams. I think we had a semi-professional hockey team called the Knights and the Sounds baseball team, which is still playing today. As soon as there was buzz about a professional team coming to town, I think the entire city of Nashville became fans, and I was not to be excluded. One interesting tidbit that sticks out in my mind was the prototype helmets. Hmmm…..Tennessee Copperheads or Tennessee Titans! It was interesting to hear fans' opinions about the team name. I'm glad they went with Titans, since we are the "Athens of the South"!

2.What is the one thing about being a TTC that most people don't know?
Most people fail to realize we don't travel with the team to away games. I have explained many times that most teams have there own cheerleaders. Although there would be a lot of eye candy, it would just be overkill with almost sixty hot girls on the sidelines! On the other hand, it's nice knowing that people think about us when the team is playing away from LP Field.

3.What is the most important attribute of a TTC?The most important attribute of TTC would have to be the relationships I've built. I love going Baptist Sports Park and talking to security and even engaging in conversations with the CSC staff, game officials, police officers and many more before, during and after the games. Even after my stint as a cheerleader, I hope to continue building those relationships.

4.What top three things do you hope to accomplish in your lifetime?
In my lifetime, I hope to become a very successful entrepreneur. I am well on my way to making that happen with my clothing business! I would also like to accomplish learning another language fluently and traveling to all the continents except Antarctica before I turn 30.

5.What do you value most in life?I value every talent that God has blessed me with each and every day. I try, with every ounce of blood in my body, to make sure everyone knows my blessings. It would be a waste to not share those special gifts with the world.

6.How do you spend your time in the offseason?
I spend my time in the offseason teaching and taking dance classes and making costumes for recitals. I also love to travel when there is free time in my schedule. I'll hit the road in a heartbeat!

7.In what area of your life have you achieved the most success? The most success I've achieved would have to be through dance. Amazingly, I've taught dance for 10 years and seeing my babies grow up and even graduate high school is overwhelming. There is nothing like a former student thanking me for helping them become a better person. Those types of experiences make life more meaningful!

8.What do you admire most in the sports/cheer industry?
I admire the hard work that athletes put into their craft day in and day out. From poker players to boxers there is something special about each activity. There is always something to learn, and as a women who grew up playing just about every sport and instrument, I can assert that hard work really does pay off.

9.What quotes do you live by?"Dance like there's no one watching!" and "Knowledge is Power!"

10.What advice do you have for people that are pursuing a career in dance?
Dance, dance and dance some more. When you're tired of dancing, get up and dance even more! Most people don't know that my mother forced me to take dance for 7 years before I began to like it. She saw something in me that I couldn't see and I'm grateful that she kept me in dance. Over the years, I've met so many wonderful people through this outlet. It's an expressive form of art that attracts eclectic and energetic people. I must say that I have the most fun with my dance friends because they express themselves in different ways…..keep that in mind!

11.How do you challenge yourself? The definition of HUSTLER is an enterprising person determined to SUCCEED; go-getter! I challenge myself by setting goals and hustling. I intend on being successful and have every intention to do so while there is still air in my lungs. I never take my knowledge for granted. I learn everyday and take that information and apply it to the next day. Knowledge is Power! It's so cliché, but the absolute truth. I suggest everyone live by that quote.
