(on the mental toughness the team had coming into tonight)

Well, we knew it wasn't going to be perfect. We went through a lot these last two weeks, you know, dealing with this virus. I just think it made us closer. It made us play for each other and go out there and play hard for each other and just get the win, man. It's all about winning.

(on his two interceptions and the offense capitalizing on the turnovers)

It was all about complementary football. Getting turnovers, trying to take the ball to the red zone. (Ryan) Tannehill, A.J. Brown, Derrick Henry, they're going to score for us. We've just got to play complementary football and play as a unit and we'll be tough to beat, but we haven't done anything. Four games are not enough in this league. We've just got to continue working, grind hard and play together.

(on being determined to get as many yards as possible out of his interceptions)

Well, I used to play offense in high school. I always wanted to play offense so once I get the ball, I'm trying to show my skills – my running skills and my vision whenever I get the chance. You know you don't have many opportunities to get the ball when you're playing defensive back. I was always told, 'Don't go down until you're tackled.' I know I scared some of my teammates. I could hear Mike Vrabel telling me to get down and take care of the ball, but once I get the ball I'm always trying to score.

(on the second interception and what happened to confuse Bills quarterback Josh Allen)

I just looked back at my post second and we were just disguising. I was on the same page with him and we made him think it was something that it wasn't. I just came off my man and got back in the seam. Just playing good complementary football and everybody working on the screen together.

(on fooling Bills quarterback Josh Allen and if that was something he watched in a game)

No, I just knew we were in one-coverage and I saw my safety disguise it. So, I said I'm going to make it look like I'm going to do the same thing he's doing. Make it look like whatever we're planning. That's what I did and that probably confused him, so yes, that's what happened.

(on explaining how the team came out tonight with the one-sided win)

You know, I'll keep it plain and simple. We expected to win and we don't need nobody to give us a chance. We gave ourselves a chance and that's exactly what we did tonight. We're a good team. If you're with us, you're with us. If you're not, you're not. It's all about those guys on the field. We expected to win this game and we're going to act like it.

(on what the team did tonight to make him proud)

We had a rough 16 days, well, however many days it was. Thinking you were going to go to practice one day and then you don't, doing Zoom meetings, not being able to go to practice and get the reps and things like that. You've probably practiced like two days since we've been out of the building. I'm just proud of everyone that stuck with the game plan that Jon Robinson and Mike Vrabel presented to us and we executed it. We did what they asked us to do. We just stick together. We stuck together. We know a lot about adversity. That was one of our key words this week and we ran with it.

_(on if the team made a statement tonight)
_
No, I don't think so. Like I said, we expected to win. Whoever didn't expect us to win, it really doesn't matter because the only things that matter are these guys in this locker room, this whole team, the staff. No, it's not a statement. Four games are not going to get you nowhere in this league. The ultimate goal is to play the last game of the season and win it. You know, we've got a long way to go. We've just got to keep working, man.

(on if the team sent group texts when they were unable to meet to stay motivated)

Some of our leaders would step up and just say, 'Stick together man,' and 'Once we get back on the field, you know we're going to play hard,' or 'Play for each other.' The defense has been itching to get out on the field. Last time we had a game we won, but we had a bitter taste in our mouths. We've been waiting to get out there, get a better taste. But guys would send texts, 'Stick together, don't separate from each other, we've just got to stick together and believe in each other, believe in the game plan the coaches and Jon Robinson gave us.' We've got a lot of leaders on this team – Kevin Byard, Ryan Tannehill, you know those guys are good at what they do on and off the field. It was a lot of good motivational messages.

(on the fast start tonight being important to put the last two weeks behind the team)

You've got to put everything behind you once you go out there on that field. We always talk about complementary football and that's the only way we're going to be able to win. We've just got to go out there and win and do your job the best way you can, be there for your teammates and just play ball, man.
