BUD ADAMS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Bud Adams Internship Program is a season-long employment opportunity designed for highly motivated collegiate students looking to gain hands-on experience within the front office of a professional sports team. Interns will be placed in a department concurrent with their area of study for the 2024-2025 NFL season to gain experience as well as develop new skills, strengthen resume, and align long-term career goals.

Program Timeline: August 19, 2024 - December 6, 2024 (with option to extend to January 12, 2025)

Program Details & Expectations

Over the course of the internship, interns will work within their respective department on various tasks and projects, participate in a collaborative group service project and attend professional development workshops. Interns are expected to work a combination of in-office and event days (can vary based on department). The collaborative group service project and professional development workshops will occur during normal business hours. All extracurricular event dates and times will be communicated to selected interns as soon as possible, prior to the program start date.

In addition to the experience described above, interns will receive the following benefits:

  • Part-time Employment with up to 29 hours per week, $18/hr
  • Real-world experience within a professional sports team and live events business
  • Formal professional development and networking opportunities throughout the program from staff at various leadership levels.

Participation in the Bud Adams Internship Program does not imply or guarantee full time employment with the Tennessee Titans upon program completion.

Candidate Details

  • All candidates must have a Senior or Graduate student status for the Fall 2024 semester. Candidates will be required to provide documentation of their Fall 2024 class schedule upon formal offer.
  • Commitment to participate in the entire term of the internship.
  • Passion for working in the sports industry, positive attitude, strong work ethic, adaptability, and intellectual curiosity are required.

Attendance Policy

Interns will meet their weekly hours through a combination of in-office and gameday responsibilities (Note: gameday responsibilities vary by department). Interested candidates must be willing and available to work flexible hours that could include nights and/or weekends as department needs dictate, assuming no interference with interns' educational commitments.

Interested candidates will be required to include one letter of recommendation and answer the selected essay question as part of their application. These documents must be uploaded into the Additional Documents area of the Internship Application. Failure to include these documents will result in an incomplete submission. Only completed applications will be considered for employment.
