The Titans open the season at home for the first time since 2017, leading off against the Arizona Cardinals (Sept. 12) for the first time in franchise history. Arizona makes its third regular season appearance at Nissan Stadium and its first since 2013. In 2020, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray passed for 3,971 yards and 26 touchdowns and rushed for an additional 11 touchdowns after winning 2019 NFL Rookie of the Year honors.
