Zach Thomas

PRO: The Titans signed Zachary Thomas prior to 2026 training camp to add depth to the offensive line. The 6-foot-5-inch, 308-pound tackle was drafted by the Chicago Bears in 2022 and has also spent time with the L.A. Rams, New England Patriots, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers. Prior to his arrival with the Titans, the San Diego State product appeared as a reserve in 17 games over three NFL campaigns.

• The Carlsbad, Calif., native was selected by the Chicago Bears in the sixth round (186th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft.

COLLEGE:
• Started 41 games over six seasons (2016-21) at San Diego State. Started 17 games at right tackle, 12 at left tackle and two at right guard for the Aztecs. In his final two seasons, he only committed three penalties on 1,144 snaps.
• As a super senior (2021), named first-team All-Mountain West by the league's coaches and media, and was also named to the Pro Football Focus first-team Mountain West Team of the Year. He was named to the Outland Trophy Award Watch List (most outstanding interior lineman) and to the Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List. Taylor also earned SDSU's Best Offensive Player by College Football News.
• As a senior (2020), earned second-team All-Mountain West by the league's media and coaches after starting eight games at right tackle and playing 556 of 560 offensive snaps (99.3 percent).
• As a junior (2019), appeared in 12 games with nine starts at right tackle and earned honorable mention selection for the Pro Football Focus Mountain West Team of the Year.
• As a sophomore (2018), appeared in three games with two starts at right guard before missing the rest of the season with an injury.
• As a redshirt freshman (2017), appeared as a reserve in all 13 games playing primarily on special teams.
• As a freshman (2016), redshirted.
• Majored in interdisciplinary studies at San Diego State.

PERSONAL:
• Attended Carlsbad (Calif.) High School and was a two-year letterwinner that helped lead his team to the Avocado West League championship.
• As a senior, was named All-CIF San Diego Section first-team offense and Avocado West League first-team honoree. Totaled 47 tackles, three sacks and a team-high 11 tackles for loss.
• Son of Mike and Wendy Thomas. Has a brother Cameron.
