Biography

PRO: The Titans signed Latrell McCutchin Sr. as a rookie free agent following the 2026 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-1-inch, 191-pounder played in 48 college games with 28 starts at cornerback. His five-season collegiate career includes stops at the Houston (2023-25), Southern California (2022) and Oklahoma (2021). The speedy cornerback's college stats includes 119 total tackles, two sacks, 14 pass breakups and two blocked kicks.

TITANS TIDBITS:
• After his son, Latrell Jr. was born in 2023, McCutchin transferred from USC to Houston to be closer to his son who lived in Austin. He had to sit out the 2023 season due to it being his second transfer, but it gave him the opportunity to be around his son and play with his younger brother, Latreveon, who was already on Houston's roster.
• McCutchin had a stellar youth athletics career in Texas after starting organized football at three years old. At age 10, McCutchin was featured on the reality show "Friday Night Tykes," and was called by some the best youth player in the state. McCutchin also won several Junior Olympics events, including the 12U 4x100-meter race in 2014.
• McCutchin's uncle nicknamed him "Bobby" from Adam Sandler's character in "The Waterboy" after seeing him do an Oklahoma drill as a young boy.

• The Austin, Texas, native was signed by the Titans as a rookie free agent on April 30, 2026.

COLLEGE: 
• Saw action in 48 total games with 28 starts in five seasons (2021-25) at Houston (2023-25), Southern California (2022) and Oklahoma (2021). Recorded 119 tackles, five stops for loss, two sacks, 14 passes defensed, two forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and two kicks blocked. Named second-team Associated Press All-Big 12 in 2025.

AS A SENIOR (2025), started all 13 games, recording 51 tackles, three stops for loss, one sack, nine pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and a blocked kick. Earned second-team All-Big 12 honors by Associated Press and league coaches. Named to Dave Campbell's Texas Football Midseason All-Texas First Team
• At Rice (9/6), recorded 11 tackles, a stop for loss and one fumble recovery.
• Against Colorado (9/12), recorded three tackles, a stop for loss and a pass breakup.
• Against Oregon State (9/26), blocked a 49-yard field goal attempt late in the first half to keep the deficit 10-14. The Cougars would go on to win by three points, 27-24. He added five tackles and a pass breakup in the contest.
• At Arizona State (10/25), logged seven tackles, one forced fumble and two pass breakups.
• At Baylor (11/29), registered two tackles and two pass breakups.
• Against Louisiana State (12/27), posted an sack for an eight-yard loss to go with five tackles.

AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2024), started all 12 games at cornerback for the Cougars. Logged 37 tackles, one tackle for loss, three pass breakups, one forced fumble and one blocked kick. His three pass breakups ranked third on the team. 
• Against UNLV (8/31), opened the season with three tackles and one pass breakup.
• Against Kansas State (11/2), recorded four tackles including a tackle for loss, one pass breakup and a blocked kick. In the second quarter, blocked an extra point try to protect a Houston lead. In the third quarter, made a tackle for a 10-yard loss on a botched field goal attempt to return possesion to the Cougars.
• At Arizona (11/15), logged a season-best five tackles.

AS A JUNIOR (2023), did not play after second transfer. Transferred to Houston from USC before the season.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022), appeared in 14 games with two starts at cornerback for the Trojans. Collected 22 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Transfered to USC following the 2021 season.
• Against Rice (9/3), made his USC debut. Recorded a sack and an additional tackle.
• At UCLA (11/19), started at cornerback and notched two tackles and a fumble recovery.
• Against Utah (12/2), credited with two tackles and a forced fumble in the Pac-12 Championship game.

AS A FRESHMAN (2021), saw action in nine games with one start at Oklahoma. Recorded nine tackles, a pass breakup and two forced fumbles. 
• Against Western Carolina (9/11), logged his first career start, posting one tackle.
• Against West Virginia (9/25), recorded two tackles and a forced fumble.
• Against Texas Christian (10/16), logged a tackle and a forced fumble.
• Earned a degree in intergrated studies from Houston in May 2025.

PERSONAL:  
• Attended Lyndon Baines Johnson Early College (Austin, Texas) High School. Played cornerback and wide receiver. Attended Manor (Texas) High as a freshman in 2017. Suffered a season-ending injury in the first game of the season as a junior in 2019.
• As a senior (2020), recorded 40 tackles, four tackles for loss, three interceptions, eight pass deflections, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries on defense. Added five receiving touchdowns on offense.
• As a sophomore (2018), named district newcomer of the year after joining the LBJ Early College aguars.
• Has three brothers and one sister. Played with his younger brother, Latreveon, in high school and from 2024-25 at Houston.
• Son of Reyna Lewis and Latremont McCutchin Sr.
• Has a son named Latrell McCuthcin Jr.
