Biography
PRO: The Titans signed Hank Beatty as a rookie free agent following the 2026 NFL Draft. The 5-foot-10-inch, 179-pounder is shifty wide receiver that also has experience returning punts. The Rochester, Ill., native stayed home and played four seasons at University of Illinois (2022-25).
TITANS TIDBITS:
• Beatty set the Illinois single-game punt return yardage record with 133 yards against Western Illinois in 2025, breaking Red Grange's 102-year-old program record set in 1923.
• In 2025, Beatty became the first Big Ten player since 2003 to record a passing touchdown, rushing touchdown, receiving touchdown, and punt return touchdown in a single season.

• The Rochester, Ill., native was signed by the Titans as a rookie free agent on April 30, 2026.
COLLEGE:
• Saw action in 50 games with 10 starts over four seasons at Illinois (2022-25) and hauled in 105 receptions for 1,248 yards with four receiving scores. Returned 38 career punts for 531 yards (14.0 avg.) with a touchdown.
AS A SENIOR (2025), selected All-Big Ten third team (coaches and media) and Associated Press All-Big Ten second team as an all-purpose player. Saw action in all 13 games with 10 starts at wide receiver and collected 70 receptions for 864 receiving yards with three touchdowns. Rushed four times for 46 yards with a score. Completed two of three passes for 31 yards with a touchdown. Returned 13 punts for 213 yards with a touchdown. Finished third in the Big Ten in receptions (64), fourth in the Big Ten in receiving yards (826) and 11th in the Big Ten in all-purpose yards (1,080) during the regular season. Became the first Big Ten player to record a passing touchdown, rushing touchdown, receiving touchdown, and punt return touchdown in a season since 2003.
• Against Western Illinois (8/29), set the Illinois single-game punt return yardage record with 133 yards including a 69-yard touchdown return, breaking Red Grange's 102-year-old program record (125) set in 1923.
• At Duke (9/6), snared eight passes for 128 yards. Rushed for a 25-yard touchdown.
• Against Southern California (9/27), posted six catches for 81 yards. Threw a three-yard touchdown pass.
• At Purdue (10/4), set a career-high with 186 receiving yards on five receptions with 62-yard touchdown catch.
AS A JUNIOR (2024), named All-Big Ten third team (media) and All-Big Ten honorable mention (coaches) as a return specialist. Played in all 13 games and led the Big Ten and ranked fourth in the nation with 14.1 yards per punt return average. His 310 punt return yards ranked second in Illinois single-season history. Caught 20 passes for 294 yards with a touchdown. Selected Academic All-Big Ten.
• At Rutgers (11/24), recorded his longest punt return (59 yards), caught two passes for 30 yards including a touchdown, and totaled 107 all-purpose yards in the win.
• Against South Carolina (12/31), notched a then career-high 90 receiving yards in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl win over the No. 14 Gamecocks.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2023), saw action as a reserve in 12 games and amassed eight catches for 65 yards. Returned a punt for six yards. Named Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten.
• Against Penn State (9/16), posted 29 receiving yards on two catches.
AS A TRUE FRESHMAN (2022), played as a reserve in 12 games and posted seven receptions for 25 yards. Returned two punt returns for two yards.
• Earned a degree in marketing from Illinois in May 2026.
PERSONAL:
• Attended Rochester (Ill.) High School and was named the 2021-22 Gatorade Illinois Football Player of the Year. Was a three-time All-State selection.
• As a senior (2021), completed 152 of 236 pass attempts for 1,899 yards with 23 touchdowns, while adding 1,371 rushing yards with 24 rushing touchdowns on 146 carries and catching 22 passes for 341 yards with two receiving scores.
• In the first game of his senior season, he became the first player in CS8 history with more than 1,000 career passing, rushing and receiving yards.
• As a sophomore (2019), selected as a MaxPreps All-American after leading Rochester to the 2019 IHSA 5A state title. Collected 12 receptions for 212 yards with three touchdowns in the 2019 state championship game to earn Player of the Game honors.
• Was a three-time academic all-conference recipient.
• Also played basketball and ran track in high school.
