Cole Turner

PRO: The Titans signed Cole Turner to their practice squad late in the 2025 campaign to add depth and experience to their tight end corps.  Prior to his arrival in Tennessee, the 6-foot-6-inch, 240-pounder appeared in 22 career NFL contests with the Washington Commanders after being drafted by the franchise in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

TITANS TIDBITS: 
•     Turner has hosted a free youth football camp in his hometown of Clackamas, Ore., the past three offseasons.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:
•    The Clackamas, Ore., native was selected by the Washington Commanders in the fifth round (149th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft.
•    Waived by the Commanders on Aug. 27, 2024 and signed to the team's practice squad a day later.
•    Signed by the Commanders to a future contract on Jan. 28, 2025.
•    Waived by the Commanders on Aug. 26, 2025.
•    Signed by the Titans to the practice squad on Dec. 9, 2025.

COLLEGE: 
•    Played four seasons (2018-21) at the University of Nevada.  Appeared in 45 games and posted 117 receptions for 1,370 yards with 20 touchdowns.  Started his collegiate career as a wide receiver before transitioning to tight end in 2020.
•     Earned second team All-Mountain West honors in 2021 and first team All-Mountain West honors in 2020.
•     As a senior (2021), played in 11 games and led the Mountain West Conference with 62 receptions for 677 yards with 10 touchdowns.
•     As a junior (2020), saw action in nine games and notched 49 catches for 605 yards with nine touchdowns.
•     As a sophomore (2019), appeared in 13 games and posted four catches for 51 yards.
•     As a true freshman (2018), played in 12 games and registered two receptions for 37 yards with a touchdown. 
•     Majored in business management at Nevada.

PERSONAL:  
•     Attended Clackamas (Ore.) High School where he was a two-sport athlete.  Helped lead his football team to three consecutive conference titles and a state championship in 2017.
•     As a senior (2017), led the state of Oregon in receiving with 76 receptions for 1,325 yards and 20 touchdowns, earning him all-state honors.
•     Also lettered in basketball.
•     His father Kelly Turner played tight end for Purdue from 1987-1990.
