
Mike Boni
Director, College Scouting
Biography
Mike Boni enters his first season as Director of College Scouting in 2026 and his 21st NFL season overall, including his 10th year with the Titans. He brings more than two decades of experience in player personnel and scouting.
Prior to his current role, Boni served as the club's assistant director of college scouting in 2025 after spending six seasons as a national scout (2019–24) and two seasons as an area scout (2017–18).
Before joining Tennessee in 2017, Boni spent nine seasons (2008–16) with the Arizona Cardinals. He began as the club's NFS representative covering the Northeast before transitioning into a full-time area scout role evaluating talent throughout the eastern United States.
Boni also spent two seasons (2006–07) with the Buffalo Bills, working one year in pro personnel and one as a college scouting administrator.
He began his NFL career in 2002 at the league's New York office as an operations intern for NFL Europe before returning to Ohio University as a student assistant for the football team during the 2003 season. Boni then began his coaching career at Frostburg State University, serving as linebackers coach and video coordinator from 2004–05.
Boni earned his bachelor's degree from Ohio University in 2004 and his MBA from Frostburg State University in 2006. He comes from a football family, as his father, Jim, coached high school football in Western Pennsylvania for more than 30 years at Moon Area and Sto-Rox High Schools.
Boni and his wife, Christina, reside in Thompson's Station, Tenn., with their three children: Cristiano, Xavier and Gianna.
