Kalan Reed joined the Titans personnel department in 2023 after previously playing cornerback for the franchise. He became the club's Northeast Area Scout in 2025 after prior roles as Scouting Intern in 2023 and Personnel Scout in 2024.

Reed entered the NFL as a player with the Titans in 2016, when the team selected him as "Mr. Irrelevant," the final pick of the seventh round (253rd overall).  He went on to appear in seven games with the Titans through 2018 and also spent time with the Seattle Seahawks from 2018 to 2020.

Reed was born in Dallas, Texas, and raised primarily in Birmingham, Ala. He played cornerback for four seasons at Southern Miss (2012-15), where he tallied eight career interceptions in 48 games and earned first-team All-Conference USA honors in 2015. He received his bachelor's degree in sports management from Southern Miss.

He and his wife, Claudia, have a son, Asher, and a daughter, Gisele.
