Isaac Williams is in his first season with the Titans and his fifth season coaching in the NFL. He was hired in 2026 as assistant offensive line coach following four seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Williams was the assistant offensive line coach during his time with the Steelers (2022-25). In his final season in Pittsburgh, he helped the offense tie for the ninth-fewest total sacks allowed (31). Right tackle Troy Fautanu, right guard Mason McCormick and center Zach Frazier started all 17 games, but the offensive line was forced to deal with losing starting left tackle Broderick Jones to a season-ending injury after 11 games.

In 2024, only the Eagles and Ravens ran the ball at a higher percentage than the 52.1 percent the Steelers posted that season. Najee Harris led the way with 263 carries for 1,043 yards, marking the running back's fourth consecutive season – and the third with Williams on staff – topping the 1,000-yard mark. Guard Isaac Seumalo was named to his first career Pro Bowl at the conclusion of the 2024 campaign.

Williams worked with three offensive linemen who were selected in the 2024 NFL Draft: tackle Troy Fautanu in the first round, center Zach Frazier in the second and guard Mason McCormick in the fourth. Those selections came one year after the drafting of Broderick Jones in the first round and Spencer Anderson in the seventh.

In 2023, Williams aided a unit that blocked for the tandem of Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren, each of whom eclipsed 1,000 scrimmage yards. Harris and Warren were the fourth duo in franchise history to eclipse 1,000 scrimmage yards in the same season and first since Walter Abercrombie and Earnest Jackson in 1986.

Williams' tenure with the Steelers came after collegiate stints at North Carolina Central (2021), Morgan State (2018-20) and Northern Colorado (2016-17), where at each stop, he worked with the offensive line.

In 2021, Williams guided an offensive line that helped the NCCU register its first three-game win streak and first winning season since 2017. The Eagles finished second in the Mid-Eastern Atlantic Conference (MEAC) with a 4-1 league record. Williams also tutored a pair of all-conference selections.

Prior to North Carolina Central, Williams spent three seasons working in the MEAC as an offensive line coach/run game coordinator at Morgan State (2018-20). While the Bears did not compete in 2020 due to COVID, Williams developed All-MEAC tackle Joshua Miles in 2019, who participated in the East-West Shrine game and the NFL Scouting Combine. Miles, who was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft, was the first Morgan State player drafted since Visanthe Shiancoe in 2003 (N.Y. Giants).

Williams has also coached at Millsaps College, Clinton (Miss.) High School and Sumner Hill (Miss.) Junior High School.

Williams was a four-year starting offensive lineman and three-time captain at Alcorn State University (2008-11). He earned all-conference honors as a junior and senior. Williams then played one season as a center and defensive end with the Arena Football League's Laredo Rattlesnakes in 2013, helping the Rattlesnakes to the AFL's best record.

Williams graduated with honors and earned his bachelor's degree in nutrition and dietetics from Alcorn State in 2012. He added his master's degree in education leadership from the University of Northern Colorado in 2017.
