Ahmed Saleh is in his first season as defensive assistant with the Titans. He has previous NFL experience as a Bill Walsh Coaching Fellow with the San Francisco 49ers (2021) and Green Bay Packers (2024).

Prior to joining the Titans in 2026, he spent two seasons at Wayne State University. In 2024, he was hired by Wayne State as a defensive and special teams assistant, and in 2025, he became the associate head coach/linebackers coach/special teams coordinator.

During the 2025 campaign, Saleh coached six Academic All-GLIAC linebackers, including Quincy Salter and Gavin Troy, who earned spots on the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team. CJ Gordon was selected as the squad's Special Teams Most Valuable Player, while Logan McGraw and Martell Williams garnered honorable mention All-GLIAC recognition.

Saleh went to Wayne State after coaching safeties at Northern Michigan in 2023.

Saleh was the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Dearborn (Mich.) Fordson High School in both 2017 and 2022. In between, he spent two seasons (2018-19) as a defensive graduate assistant coach at Colorado State University working with the defensive backs and linebackers, and two seasons (2020 and 2021) as the special teams coordinator and defensive backs coach at Madonna University.

The Dearborn, Mich., native attended Michigan State University, where he spent two years as a defensive student assistant coach. He graduated from Michigan State in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and added a master's degree in business administration from Central Michigan in 2019.
