The Titans Community Drive this week will collect individual, pre-packaged snacks such as chips, fruit snacks, pre-popped popcorn, etc., at collection stations located outside of Nissan Stadium gates. These snacks will benefit the Bridge Ministry's weekend food bags for children.
The Bridge Ministry started in November 2004 out of a desire to reach the homeless and less fortunate people of Nashville. The Bridge provides a non-profit service to the food insecure, poor, homeless, and partner agencies to bring necessities for everyday life to the needy. Their goal is to educate those without high school diplomas and job skills to integrate them back into the work force, to bring awareness to hunger and homelessness, and to motivate people to be passionate for the poor.
