NASHVILLE – The Titans have signed defensive tackle Shy Tuttle.

Tuttle, who played in college at the University of Tennessee, was waived by the Carolina Panthers earlier this week after playing two seasons with the team.

In 32 games with Carolina, Tuttle tallied 89 tackles, a half-sack and eight pass breakups.

Prior to joining the Panthers, Tuttle played four seasons with the New Orleans Saints after making the team as an undrafted free agent in 2019.

In 95 career games, with 65 starts, Tuttle has totaled 232 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 10 stops for loss, 22 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in his six NFL seasons.

A 6-foot-3, 300-pounder, Tuttle adds additional veteran depth for the Titans.

In four seasons with the Vols, Tuttle played in 35 career games and totaled 79 tackles, a sack and six tackles for a loss.
