NASHVILLE – The Titans on Wednesday moved cornerback Joshua Williams to the team's Designated to Return to Practice list.

This designation opens up a three-week window for Williams to practice with the team, and he will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.

Williams is eligible to return to practice today.

Williams was placed on Injured Reserve on August 31 with a pectoral injury.

After spending his first four NFL seasons with the Chiefs, the 6-foot-3, 201-pound Williams signed with the Titans back in March to compete for playing time in the team's new-look defense, and to contribute on special teams.

In his NFL career, Williams has played in 65 career games, with 12 starts, and he's recorded 86 tackles, 18 passes defensed, a sack and an interception while playing a key role on special teams. Williams started a career-high six games for Kansas City in 2024. During his rookie season in 2022, when he started four games, Williams intercepted Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow in the AFC Championship Game.

The Titans return to action on Sunday vs the Houston Texans.
