NASHVILLE – The Titans on Friday placed left tackle Taylor Lewan on the team's Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Lewan, who did not play on Thursday vs the 49ers because of a back injury, joins offensive linemen Rodger Saffold and Kendall Lamm on the COVID list.

Meanwhile, the Titans activated receiver Dez Fitzpatrick and defensive back Jamal Carter (who is on the practice squad/Injured list), from the COVID list.

The Reserve/COVID-19 list was created for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons. If a player falls into either of these categories, his club is required to immediately place the player on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

The Titans return to action on January 2 against the Dolphins at Nissan Stadium.
