NASHVILLE -- The Titans Community Drive has been a long-standing tradition at Titans home games. Though fans will largely not be in attendance at Sunday's home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, fans can still give back to the Nashville community virtually.
This week's community drive benefits LP PENCIL Box. To participate, fans should visit tennesseetitans.com/charitydrives to view and donate from the wish list. All items purchased will be shipped directly to PENCIL.
About LP PENCIL Box:
- The LP PENCIL Box is a teacher supply store stocked with classroom essentials
- Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) teachers can shop for new school supplies for their students and classrooms for free
- Since 48 percent of MNPS students come from economically disadvantaged households, the LP PENCIL Box is the community's way to ensure that every student has quality supplies no matter their economic background
- In the 2018-19 school year alone, the PENCIL Box distributed more than $1.44 million worth of supplies to teachers from 159 MNPS schools
Even when fans return to Nissan Stadium in October, the Titans Community Drive will remain virtual throughout the season. Updated information on each drive will be available the week of the game at www.tennesseetitans.com/charitydrives.
