Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan hosts his 3rd Annual Karaoke for a Cure April 1 at Cabana Restaurant in Nashville, Tenn. |
Last year, more than 35 of Cortland's fellow teammates participated, most of them stepping up to the microphone to belt-out the Karaoke challenges to the delight of the attendees.
Tickets are $100 and include appetizers, drinks, a silent auction with one-of-a-kind items, and of course guaranteed laughter. Party-goers buy song challenges in which they request their favorite player to sing a specific tune. Karaoke for a Cure will return to the hip Hillsboro Village hot-spot Cabana Restaurant and Bar and is hosted by Great American Country's Storme Warren.
Finnegan created Karaoke For A Cure as his signature fundraiser when he ran for "Man of the Year" in 2008. "The Cortland Finnegan ARK 31 Foundation" is his non-profit organization committed to serving children with special needs and disabilities throughout the Middle Tennessee area.
Finnegan was named a Titans Community All-Star in 2008 and 2009 due to his involvement with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Special Olympics of Middle Tennessee. He hosts a Christmas dinner at LP Field every year for families of those charities. Finnegan founded the ARK 31 foundation in February 2009 to build his future of giving back to the Nashville community.
