Conference Call: OT Troy Kropog

T/G TROY KROPOG**

(On if this is where he thought he might be picked in the draft)

I really didn't expect to go particularly anywhere. I was just hoping that I had a chance to play some where. To be honest with you, I am just super excited that I get that chance now.

(On expecting a fun challenge joining a team that went 13-3)

Absolutely, it really does. I tell you, I am a big Tennessee fan, they are a great program. I spent some time up in Nashville. I love it up there. The coaching staff is great, the players are great and I'm just excited to get up there and get playing.

(On learning Nashville while working out at D1)

Believe it or not, that is one reason I am so excited. It's a great city. The people there are great. I really enjoyed myself there. I am really excited that I have a chance to go back.

(On being excepted to play tackle or guard)

That's one of those things that is up to the coaches. I feel like I am a versatile player and I can play both tackle and guard. Just depends on where they want me and where they need me.

(On how long he stayed in Nashville)

I was in Nashville almost two months I believe.

(On becoming a Titans fan)

I became a real Titans fan while I was up there. I had a chance to meet a couple of the players, the chance to meet an ex-player. I met a lot of the fans from there. It just seemed like a great program and I thought they were always a good program but once I got to meet what really gets it going like the fans and some of the players and things like that, I really liked them. The main person I met with and spent the most time with was Brad Hopkins. I'm sure you know him, the ex-Tennessee Titans player. He helped me workout and get ready for the combine and the draft. Through him, he had introduced me to a few more guys but mainly him.

(On looking forward to playing for Coach Mike Munchak)

It's going to be a great experience getting a chance to work underneath him like that. I am just really excited.

(On playing against Gerald McGrath in college)

We haven't played Southern Miss in the last couple of years and I did have a chance to play against him a few years back. He's a good player but no real bad blood or nothing like that. He's just another player.

(On body's transformation while in college)

Just working out hard. Having a decent strength program. That for four years and eating right and all that kind of stuff is going to change somebody. I put on 30 lbs. maybe a little bit more since I got here. It has benefited me thus far.

(On being a better pass or run blocker)

I really don't have a preference either way. I like to think that I am a pretty versatile guy and can do both. A lot of these guys that talk about that kind of stuff, scouts and things like that, say I am pretty well-rounded but arguably a little better pass blocker than run blocker.
