TITANS HEAD COACH MIKE MULARKEY MEDIA AVAILABILITY - Nov. 24, 2016
(on practice participation)
Limited was Taylor Lewan. Did not practice was (Phillip) Supernaw, and then full participation was (Brice) McCain and DeMarco (Murray).
(on if Taylor Lewan continues to make progress)
Yeah, he's doing better and better. Hopefully, he gets more work tomorrow, and then we will go into Saturday and see where he's at. We'll evaluate him more tomorrow.
(on if Phillip Supernaw is still in concussion protocol)*
Yes, he is.
(on the benefit of having both Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan healthy throughout season)
I think you've seen the tale of two years. One year you don't and then one year you do. You see really a force from both sides. You're seeing other guys getting involved with the pressure. It's evident when you can have two edge rushers that are having success, one can play off the other. It's not just one only. They're both having success because of each other.
(on if it is fun to finally see the defensive pressure come together as planned)
Yeah, in this defense, that's all I've ever been used to. I've been in this defensive scheme, part of it, I'm talking 25 years. I know when we've been successful, we've had two guys that are hard to block outside, and we do.
(on how the Bears' injuries impact preparation for the game)
No, we're not falling for anything. They're no 'woe is me'. We're preparing for a tough, physical game. I know John Fox and his staff will have these guys prepared. They have all year with that roster. You look at their defense—next man up motto. They're playing well up front, so there will be no letdown from this team at all. We're preparing like it's a full roster, as we do every week.
