(on today's practice)
We had a very good practice, a lot of high energy, guys flying around, a lot of communicating, it was a good Thursday. We needed to follow up from yesterday and I thought that was even better than yesterday.
(on Jason McCourty's injury update)
It doesn't look like he's going to play, at least this week. They have to make some decisions on the injury, but I don't foresee him playing this week.
(on how Jason McCourty's injury will affect the defense)*
Blidi (Wreh-Wilson) practiced more today, Perrish (Cox) practiced more today, so at least we have some guys that are healthier than they were last week. It's nice to have B.W. (Webb) have a game under his belt and have some success under his belt, so that's good for us. We're getting healthy, we'd like to have (Jason McCourty) back, but at least we've got some of those guys back.
(on what stands out about Carolina)
They're pretty much what we're preaching, a very disciplined football team. They're kind of methodical. They're going to do it this way, people know they're going to do it that way. They don't hurt themselves. You look at their turnovers, they just don't turn the ball over. The offense is very efficient, schemed well. Defense is very sound, very confident in what they're doing. Their special teams, again, they've got some core players that are good that we have to take care of. It's just a solid football team. You can't make a lot of mistakes. It's going to be one of those games.
(on if Sunday's win have led to spirited practices this week)
I think it's partly due to that, but I also think it's partly due to our roster and the players on our roster and the way they go about their business. They've been that way since I've been here. They come to work every day, but the win certainly helps boost it, I can't argue that.
