TITANS HEAD COACH MIKE MULARKEY PRESS CONFERENCE TRANSCRIPT - October 13, 2017**

(on how much more quarterback Marcus Mariota did today in practice)

He did a little bit more than he did yesterday. It was good, it was good to see him get a little more reps. He's on track to do a little bit more tomorrow.

(on if quarterback Marcus Mariota will play on Monday)

We're hopeful, definitely hopeful.

(on if it's a competitive advantage for the team to not announce which quarterback is starting)

I just myself in my position before with two different types of skill sets, yeah, I think it's an advantage.

(on if it's a positive that Marcus Mariota was able to do more today than he did yesterday)

Yeah, it was. He didn't have any setbacks from yesterday. We'll check tomorrow and see how he feels after doing a little bit more today.

(on if Marcus Mariota has shown him a full sprint yet)

No.

(on if he expects to see Marcus Mariota sprint this week)

We'll talk about it when the time's right. It's Friday, right? It's still Friday, we don't play until Monday night.

(on if Marcus Mariota was able to take more reps with the team)

He did a little bit more, he did.

(on the risk of playing Marcus Mariota when there's still 10 games left in the season)

That's a big concern, yeah that's definitely a concern. That's the biggest concern because of all the football that's left. We want to be smart. I think we've been very good with our guys in that regard, especially in this position and this guy, with Marcus (Mariota), cannot expose him to something, that risk.

(on wide receiver Corey Davis and safety Johnathan Cyprien's injuries)

I think they're a little more serious. Some of the things, even here, we've had some setbacks earlier on, trying to avoid doing that again.

(on if the biggest risk of playing Marcus Mariota is him suffering a setback)

Yes.

(on if Marcus Mariota has had any setbacks so far)

No.

(on if Marcus Mariota doesn't have to be at 100 percent to play)

I'd say that's true, yes.

(on what percent Marcus Mariota needs to be at to play)

I don't know what that is, but it's going to come down to a lot of things. We've got another full-speed practice tomorrow night and a walk through and all that rest, we'll see. It might be a game-time decision, but I don't know about a percentage, I don't know what that is. Can he play and not risk himself to further injury? That's the biggest thing.

(on if tackle Taylor Lewan practiced today)

He went full today. Really limited to day, actually, Daren Bates, he got a little bit of a knee (injury). It's nothing, it's a knee strain, I don't anticipate him being out. He was limited and Marcus (Mariota) was limited.

(on if Taylor Lewan took full reps today)

Yeah, he did today, he did.

(on if he would feel more comfortable playing Marcus Mariota knowing that Taylor Lewan was in)

No, I have a lot of confidence in Dennis (Kelly). You've got to in this league, and we do. No, that would not play a factor in it.
