TITANS INTERIM HEAD COACH MIKE MULARKEY PRESS CONFERENCE TRANSCRIPT - November 13, 2015

(on Dexter McCluster practicing today)

It was good to have him back, he looked good. I think the way we handled it yesterday and then taking him out on Wednesday, I thought that was smart on our part and on his part. I think it proved to be a good move for us.

(on if he feels confident that Dexter McCluster will be good to go on Sunday)

I do, yeah.

(on if he is excited about the possibility of snapping Carolina's undefeated streak)*

We're going to give it our best effort. It's really not about the record, just getting a win. We're still trying to climb up out of it. It's not about breaking any streaks, it's about winning a game. If that happens, that's great.

(on his first home game as interim head coach)

I think it will be exciting, just based on what happened last Sunday. I think there will be some excitement with our fans in anticipation, and hopefully we can play as well as we did last week for them.

(on if Kendall Wright has been ruled out for Sunday's game)

Kendall (Wright) will be out, yes. Kendall and JMac (Jason McCourty) will be out for this game.

(on if Kendall Wright is making improvements in recovering from his injury)

He is, yes.

(on Jason McCourty's injury update)

We're going to make decisions on that. We're going to give him a few more days and then make some decisions next week. We're just going to rule him out for this game and same with Kendall (Wright).

(on if the options Jason McCourty faces are rehabbing or having another surgery)

Yeah, that's it right now as we go through the weekend.

(on the disappointment of Jason McCourty's injury)

Yeah, I think everybody is kind of frustrated a little bit because he's such a competitor and he wants to come out. It just hasn't gone as planned. Sometimes these things, they linger, and this was one of the cases that it did.

(on if having young players like Coty Sensabaugh and Cody Riggs step up in Jason McCourty's absence last week gives him confidence going into this weekend)

Yeah, I think that is really good for a lot of people. For the coaches, these guys' teammates, to see them playing well where they were, to come in and really not flinch, step up and do some good things for us. I think that's got to give them some confidence, and it looks like it did the way they're moving around.

(on if he will wait until right before the game to decide on whether or not Perrish Cox is ready to play)

Yeah, that's where he is. That's exactly the way it's been this week with him, and I don't see it being different for the game.
