HEAD COACH JEFF FISHER**

(on moving the OTA session indoors because of the heat)

Yes.  They have done a real good job outside.  Most of their condition work as taken place outside on the non-OTA days.  I thought we would be more productive in here.  We will have plenty of opportunity to acclimate during training camp.  And it is extremely hot out there.

(on whether he will stay inside all week)

Not necessarily.  Regardless of the situation, we will go out on Thursday.

(on the planned meeting with Chris Johnson)

I'm not discussing what is going on between CJ and I. Obviously, he is under contract.

(on the reason Nate Washington didn't practice)

He fell and banged his wrist last week, but he is okay.  There is nothing serious.  We just gave him a day off.

(on Jim Washburn's previous success with taking players from other systems and making them productive)

I think it is not only the way he coaches but it is what we ask our defensive line to do.  We just ask them to play hard.  They have responsibilities in that process.  It is effort that is what he does so well.  He coaches effort

(on the running back position as it stands now in OTAs)

I think we are in good shape.  Javon [Ringer] has had a real good offseason.  AP [Alvin Pearman] has been in the system and he knows what to do.  LeGarrette [Blount] is coming on, he is learning and you see he is catching the ball very well.  Stafon [Johnson] is doing a nice job as well.  I think we are in good shape there.

(on how Chris Johnson's absence has helped Javon Ringer)

Well it is the reps.  Whatever the number is, he is getting significantly more reps.  We had a blitz walkthrough today for example and he gets an opportunity to become much more familiar with his responsibilities as far as protection is concerned.  He is taking full advantage of it.

(on Rusty Smith's development)

He had a nice two-minute drive.  He is making good decisions.  His feet are real good and he is an accurate passer.  He had a good day today.

(on Jason Babin's progress in the system)

Jason is in it.  He loves what we do up front.  He has bought into it and likes it.  He has been quite active considering you are not in pads at this point.  He is running around and I think he will be very productive for us.

(on the plan for the last OTA days)

We have one Thursday and we have one Friday.  This weekend the draft choices head out to the symposium.  They will be going home after that.  The bulk of the offseason program will be winding down at the end of this week.  We will have the building open.  It will be the last week of the training program, but nothing organized next week.  I think we are in good shape.  We have a lot of guys back and the energy is there.  A lot of the younger players have already improved.  Coach Watterson has changed a lot of different bodies in a short period of time.  I think we are in good shape.
