HEAD COACH JEFF FISHER**
(on the injury report)
Mike Otto, no practice-out; William Hayes, full practice-questionable; Tony Brown, full practice-questionable.
(on if Pittsburgh quarterback Dennis Dixon tends to try and run when he gets pressured)
I think he had three or four carries for eight yards, so he tried to stay alive and make plays, and throw off schedule and he did. He threw some nice balls to his left and to his right, and he did that in the preseason as well.
(on what Pittsburgh's defense does so well against the run)
They're just very sound. They're two-gap based, they penetrate, they're very solid on the edge and they have a safety with a knack for minimizing gains.
(on if there is a benefit from going against a rookie center again)
No, (Steelers rookie, Maurkice) Pouncey's a good player. He's a first-round pick, he's a good player. He'll be a fine player for them.
