Big Games from Bulluck

Keith Bulluck (LB, 2000-09) finished his Titans career with 1,265 tackles (third most in franchise history), 18 sacks, 46 quarterback pressures, 56 tackles for loss, 19 interceptions, 14 forced fumbles, 10 fumble recoveries and six touchdowns. Bulluck led the Titans in tackles six times (2002-06, '08) during his 10 seasons with the team. Here's a look at some of his biggest games with the Titans:

Nov. 3, 2002: Bulluck returned a fumble 61 yards for a touchdown in a 23-15 win at Indianapolis (above). It was Bulluck's first season as a starting linebacker, and the Titans went on to win the first AFC South title in NFL History.

Sept. 28, 2003: Bulluck recorded a single-game career-high 19 tackles in a 30-13 thumping of the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

Oct. 19, 2003: Bulluck recorded nine tackles, one quarterback pressure, three tackles for loss, one pass defensed and returned a fourth-quarter fumble 32 yards for a touchdown in a 37-17 Titans win at Carolina.

Dec. 14, 2003: Bulluck made a sack, forced fumble and fumble recovery in one play when he tackled Drew Bledsoe on the Buffalo 18-yard-line (above). He added 10 tackles, including one for a loss to spark the Titans to a 28-26 comeback victory against the Bills.

Jan. 3, 2004: Bulluck and the Titans held 2003 NFL rushing champ Jamal Lewis to a season-low 35 yards on 14 carries in a 20-17 win against the Ravens in Baltimore. Bulluck led the Titans with eight tackles.

Jan. 2, 2005: Bulluck forced a fumble during a sack of Joey Harrington and returned the ball 39 yards for his fourth career touchdown to end the 2004 season with a 24-19 win against Detroit.

Nov. 27, 2005: Bulluck led the Titans with 12 tackles, including two for a loss, and returned his 10th career interception 16 yards to lead Tennessee past San Francisco 33-22.

Nov. 11, 2006: Bulluck scored his fifth career touchdown off a lateral from Randy Starks in a 31-13 thumping of the Eagles in Philadelphia.

Dec. 17, 2006: Bulluck tallied 11 tackles a pressure of David Garrard and a sack of the Jaguars' QB on a fourth-down play in the second quarter in a 24-17 win against Jacksonville.

Oct. 21, 2007: Bulluck recorded seven tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery in a thrilling 38-36 Titans win at Houston. Bulluck recovered a fumble by Sage Rosenfels in the second quarter to set up one of an NFL-record eight field goals by Rob Bironas on the day. Bulluck added the interception in the fourth quarter.

Sept. 24, 2007: Bulluck earned AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors after making three of Tennessee's four interceptions (above) of Saints QB Drew Brees in a 31-14 Titans victory on Monday Night Football.

10-0 start in 2008: Bulluck started all 16 games at outside linebacker and helped the 2008 Titans shatter the franchise record for consecutive wins to start a season (10). The previous high had been three (in 1991 as the Houston Oilers and in 1999 in the Titans' inaugural campaign. Bulluck said he and his teammates enjoyed setting that mark.

Sept. 14, 2008: Bulluck blocked and recovered a punt in the end zone for his sixth touchdown to put the Titans up early in a 24-7 win at Cincinnati. The Titans went 6-0 in games when Bulluck scored a touchdown.

Oct. 27, 2008: Bulluck broke up a Peyton Manning pass intended for Dallas Clark, and Chris Hope recorded his second interception of the game on the play. Bulluck added nine tackles in the Titans' 31-21 victory over the Colts on Monday Night Football on Oct. 27, 2008 during the first Code Blue game in Titans history.

Dec. 7, 2008: Bulluck drenched former Titans coach Jeff Fisher after a 28-9 victory against Cleveland in which the Titans clinched their second AFC South title.

Dec. 13, 2009: Bulluck recorded two interceptions, three pass deflections and 10 tackles in a 47-7 crushing of the St. Louis Rams. Bulluck earned AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the performance, but he suffered a season-ending injury the following week against Miami that halted his consecutive starts streak at 127 (third in franchise history among linebackers).
