Ethan from London, Ontario: "With the return of Marc Mariani from his leg injury early last season, who is impressing the most at OTA's between him and Darius Reynaud and who will the Titans be giving return duties to or will they split duties?"

MIKE KEITH: Ethan, it is way too early to tell on both players or on what the Titans' plan may be. Mariani's recovery from the compound fracture in his leg has been amazing, although he's still not 100 percent. Reynaud looks stronger than in 2012. Roster-wise, I don't know that the Titans will keep a player just to be a returner, especially if they again keep three quarterbacks. In other words, Mariani will likely have to win a spot in the receiving corps and Reynaud will likely have to win a spot in the running backs corps. So as training camp develops, don't just watch how these guys do on kick and punt returns; watch them when they get a chance to play offense.

Jacob from Knoxville: *"The Titans' offense seems to have more weapons this year than in recent years. Do you think we could see Kenny Britt and Justin Hunter set out wide with Kendall Wright filling the slot? Seems like a pretty good trio." *

MIKE KEITH: I agree, Jacob. I hope that we see these three on the field together, especially a lighter Kendall Wright. A totally different-looking athlete this spring. Wright got rid of 15 pounds, and the difference is noticeable.

Mark from Madison, Ala.: *"Do you see Shonn Greene having much of an impact between the 20s beyond 3rd and short plays?" *

MIKE KEITH: The Titans think so. I know that Greene is great in third-and-short and on the goal line, but I don't get the sense from the offensive coaches that he's been brought in for ONLY situational use. The Titans would love to rush the ball more than 30 times per game as a team — that would be a goal. If that works out, Chris Johnson would get the majority of the carries, but there would be plenty left for Shonn Greene. Again, that's the goal.

Randall from Waldorf, Md.: "Will the Titans run any of the pistol offense this upcoming season?"

MIKE KEITH: Randall, I don't know if they will, but I wouldn't rule anything out. I think multiple looks are coming from this offense.

Matthew from Fayetteville: "What do the Titans need to do to make the playoffs and win the division?"

MIKE KEITH: Matthew, lots of ways to go with this answer, but I will take the basic premise and break in down a little bit.

I believe that to win the AFC South, a team will need 11 wins. I believe this division will be more competitive top-to-bottom this season.

For the Titans, the formula to get to 11 wins starts with playing much better at LP Field and in AFC South games. The Titans were poor in both areas in 2012. To be a legit AFC South division contender, the Titans need 7 or 8 wins at home and a 4-2 mark in the AFC South.

From a football standpoint, to win 7 or 8 at LP Field and 4 in the division, the Titans have to run the football better, have to stop the opponents' run game and must respond better when things go wrong. A lot of the Titans' focus in this off-season is about getting physically and mentally tougher. There are positive steps with the veterans who have been brought in and how the team is responding in OTAs. A long way to go, as it's just June, but so far, so good.
