2025 Neighborhood Business Spotlight Previous Winners – Goodlettsville
Chef's Market
Chef's Market is a Goodlettsville-born restaurant and catering company dedicated to feeding -and uplifting- our hometown. Every day, we cook from scratch, blend Southern comfort with fresh, seasonal flavors, and treat guests like neighbors. Beyond our dining room, we serve schools, local nonprofits, faith communities, and small businesses, fueling everything from ballgames to benefit dinners. We hire locally, partner with nearby vendors, and invest our time and resources back into Goodlettsville because this community built us. Being considered for the Tennessee Titans' Neighborhood Business Spotlight is an honor we share with our team and the families we serve. Whether it's a busy weekday lunch, a milestone celebration, or a game-day gathering, our promise is simple: generous hospitality, delicious food, and a heart for Goodlettsville. Thanks for cheering us on! We're proud to represent our city and the spirit that makes it home.
FLOE Academy
Future Leaders of Excellence (FLOE) Academy is a nonprofit early childhood center in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, dedicated to nurturing young minds through quality, inclusive education. Founded by Leslie Buggs in 2017, FLOE Academy serves children six weeks to six years old in a safe, loving environment that celebrates diversity and development at every level. Our passionate teachers meet each child where they are—academically, socially, and emotionally—preparing them to thrive in school and in life. FLOE stands out for its commitment to inclusion, blending children of all abilities into classrooms that encourage empathy, curiosity, and growth. Winning this grant would allow us to continue expanding our inclusive classrooms and playground, ensuring every child—regardless of ability—has the opportunity to learn, play, and flourish together.
Liz's Kitchen
Liz's Kitchen was established in 2010 by my late mother, Elizabeth Darden. My mother was a pillar in our Goodlettsville community. Our doors are open six days a week, and our goal is to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. Whether you are able to pay or not, you are welcome to eat. We thrive on feeding others; our motto is 'food for your soul,' southern food made with love. Don't worry about the calories. Thank you for choosing our establishment.
Rust and Ruffles Boutique
Growing up in Goodlettsville, I never imagined that the store I passed every day on my way to school would one day be mine. For the past seven years, it's been an honor and a privilege to provide employment opportunities and serve my community. At Rust & Ruffles, we believe every woman is already beautiful — our job is simply to help her see it. Whether it's through the perfect outfit, a color that lights up her face, or a conversation that turns into a hug, we're here to remind her she's worthy just the way she is.
