WR Elic Ayomanor

It looked like there were times when Cam Ward had time to throw the football, he just couldn't find people. What were they doing so well to cover you guys up?

I don't know. I'm going to have to go back and watch the tape and see.

So what happened in the second half? You guys had 26 points on the board and then they really clamped down. Any ideas of what the difference was?

Yeah, it's really hard to say from just being on the field, because I can only see my perspective of the play, right? So I don't know if there is something specific. I'll have to go back again and watch the tape and see what really transpired. But I'm not one to judge so quickly off of just my feelings from the game.

Bottom line four field goals just too many?

Of course, yeah. I'm not saying that it's ever acceptable for you to only take field goals in the second half. But like I said, I have to go back and watch the film before I really pass my final judgment on the game, you know what I'm saying?

Still, you guys had a couple chances late to win the game and tie the game. Belief still completely there?

Yeah, of course. And so I mean, again, it's our job to finish the game right there. The defense gets the ball back. We have a chance to go score and then go for two and make the game tied, right? And so we need to convert. We need to find a way at the end there. Yeah, we just got to find way. That's our job. That's what we're supposed to do.

What was going right early that allowed so much success and maybe what are some things they did to kind of slow you down a little bit?

Yeah, I mean, I was saying this earlier, it's hard for me to really pass judgment on what exactly happened, because I only have one perspective of the field, and the film really tells all the truth. So I feel like I'll always wait until after we watch film tomorrow to really pass my full judgment on it. But obviously we can't stagnate at the end there.

What are the emotions just surrounding not being able to stack wins this season?

Yeah, it never feels good to lose regardless of if it's you trying to stack them or not. The morale is never going to be good right after a loss. But I think that the team is strong, and I feel like we have a lot of fighting spirit. I think when you really watch the tape, you see how hard we actually play. And that's something I'm really proud to say. My brothers out there really compete hard.
