(on the offense's ability to convert third downs and how big that was today)
Whenever you can stay on the field and convert third downs, those guys on the other side, they get tired. So, we keep the drives going, and that's huge and that's the money down. That's what we call it.
(on the importance of him being able to play in a divisional game)
It was big for me. I didn't get as many snaps as I wanted, but I was on the snap count, and I was just trying to do what they wanted me to do today. Just being out there. We got the win, so that's important.
(on if he feels like himself and if he feels that he'll get there as the weeks progress)
I'm not there yet, to be honest. Soon. Maybe. Hope so. But I'm not there yet.
(on the importance of building momentum today to take into a primetime matchup)
Whenever you get a division win, no matter what their record is in the NFL, it's hard to win in the league. It gives us momentum. It gives us some confidence. We've got to go back and clean up the little stuff we didn't do well on, but we've got a big game Monday night against Buffalo. They're a good team.
(on the calls Offensive Coordinator Todd Downing made to get receivers open)
He did a good job today. A lot of bunch -- I know you're not supposed to talk about scheme, so I'm going to end that question right there. I'm sorry. He did a great job today.
(on how Todd Downing helps him as a wide receiver)
Whenever he can draw up plays for us, take some load off us, it's huge.
(on the difficulty of being what he and others expect him to be despite injury)
To be honest, right now, I'm not going to lie, it's difficult. I'm glad we got the win. But for me, I expect more out of myself. I expect better out of myself, and I've got to do a better job. I've got to get going.
(on how good it was to see wide receiver Marcus Johnson contribute today)
He did a great job today. He came up big for us.
(on the energy brought to the team when numerous players are able to contribute to a successful drive)
We were rotating pretty well. So, of course, Ryan (Tannehill) did a good job of finding guys, and Todd (Downing) calling plays and getting guys touches and making plays. So whenever everybody can keep the drive going, that's big.
