Vote for Justin Hunter for Pepsi Next NFL Rookie of the Week

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Titans wide receiver Justin Hunter is a candidate for the Pepsi Next NFL Rookie of the Week.

Hunter hauled in a 34-yard touchdown pass from Jake Locker with 15 seconds remaining in a 20-17 victory over the Chargers last Sunday at LP Field.

The second-round pick from the University of Tennessee became the first NFL rookie since Jacksonville's Ernest Wilford on Sept. 12, 2004 to score a game-winning touchdown with 15 seconds or less remaining in the game on his first career reception.

Other candidates include Bengals RB Giovani Bernard, Jets QB Geno Smith, Lions DE Ziggy Ansah and Browns DE Barkevious Mingo.

Fans can click here to vote for one of these five players on  through Friday at 3 p.m., EST to determine the Pepsi Next NFL Rookie of the Week

The Pepsi Next NFL Rookie of the Weekwill be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.

After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Pepsi Next NFL Rookie of the Year honors.  Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies throughout the month of January.

The Pepsi NEXT NFL Rookie of the Year will be announced at the "3rd Annual NFL Honors" awards show in New York City on FOX on Saturday, February 1, the night before Super Bowl XLVIII.

This is Pepsi's 12th year as the official soft drink sponsor of the NFL and the 11th year that Pepsi will present the NFL Rookie of the Week and NFL Rookie of the Year awards.
