Vickerson Signs His One-Year Tender

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson has signed his one-year tender with the Tennessee Titans.

The four-year veteran already had signed a waiver and had been taking part in the team's offseason program. He was tendered for $1.8 million and would have cost another team a second-round draft pick to lure him away.

Vickerson, who signed as a free agent in 2007, had 49 tackles and nine quarterback pressures in 2009. The Titans like how he can play both the run and against the pass.

The only Titans who have yet to sign their one-year tenders are defensive tackle Tony Brown, running back LenDale White and linebacker Stephen Tulloch.
