NASHVILLE – The Titans have waived kicker Matthew Wright.
The move comes after kicker Joey Slye returned to the practice field this week.
Wright kicked in the team's game as Las Vegas last Sunday as Slye missed with a calf injury.
Also on Friday, the Titans signed linebacker Joe Bachie to the team's practice squad.
Bachie, who played in college at Michigan State, has spent time with the Saints, Eagles, Bengals and Colts in the NFL. He's played in 56 career games in his career, with seven starts.
The Titans return to action on Sunday at Nissan Stadium against the New England Patriots.
