NASHVILLE – The Titans have signed running back D'Ernest Johnson.
The team has waived running back Dominic Richardson, who was signed earlier in the week.
Johnson, who went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft out of South Florida, has spent time with the Browns, Jaguars, Ravens, Cardinals and Patriots in the NFL, in addition to a stint with the Orlondo Apollos of the Alliance of American Football.
Johnson has played in 103 career games and he's carried the ball 228 times for 1,014 yards and three touchdowns, along with 53 catches for 465 yards.
Johnson spent last season with the Patriots, on the team's active roster and practice squad. He had four kickoffs for the Patriots in Super Bowl LV.
The Titans return to the practice field on Wednesday at Vanderbilt Health Football Center.
