NASHVILLE – The Titans have signed outside linebacker Jihad Ward.
Also, the Titans waived defensive lineman Keondre Coburn.
A second-round pick of the Raiders in the 2016 NFL Draft, Ward has played in 119 career games, with 37 starts, and tallied 168 tackles, 19 sacks, and 73 quarterback hits and five fumble recoveries while playing for the Raiders, Colts, Ravens, Jaguars, Giants and Vikings.
Ward (6-5, 285) played in all 17 games for the Vikings in 2024, when he tallied 10 tackles, a sack and 14 quarterback hits while playing 467 defensive snaps and 78 on special teams.
The Titans currently have eight edge rushers on the team's roster: Arden Key, Dre'Mont Jones, Femi Oladejo, Jaylen Harrell, Ali Gaye, Titus Leo, Desmond Evans and now Ward.
The Titans hit the field for Day 2 of training camp Thursday morning.
