NASHVILLE – The Titans have signed 14 players to Reserve/Futures contracts.

On Monday, the Titans added defensive lineman Tyler Shelvin, who played in college at LSU, to the list.

A 2021 fourth-round pick of Bengals, Shelvin (6-3, 346) has seven games (5 regular season and 2 postseason) of NFL experience with Cincinnati. Over his NFL career, he posted four tackles in seven games for the Bengals. As a college player at LSU, Shelvin played 21 games (14 starts) and tallied 48 tackles, including 4.5 for loss and one sack.

Here's the group off 13 players previously signed by the Titans:

OL John Leglue

TE Justin Rigg

DT Curtis Brooks

CB Shyheim Carter

OL Zack Johnson

WR Mason Kinsey

OLB Zach McCloud

TE Thomas Odukoya

OLB Sam Okuayinonu

DL Jayden Peevy

WR Reggie Roberson

OL Andrew Rupcich

All of the players aside from Rigg, Leglue and Shelvin were part of the Titans practice squad during the 2022 season.

Rigg (6-6, 266) entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent in 2022 with Cincinnati and spent time with Pittsburgh on their practice squad. As a college player at the University of Kentucky, Rigg tallied 50 receptions for 547 yards and six touchdowns in 63 games (35 starts) over a six-year college career.

Leglue (6-7, 310) entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Denver in 2019. Over his NFL career, he has played in six games with five starts in his time with the Broncos (2019), New Orleans (2019), Green Bay (2019-20) and Pittsburgh (2020-22). In 2021, he started the final five games of the season at left guard for the Steelers. As a college player at Tulane, Leglue started 38 games during his four-year career, registering starts at four positions along the offensive line (15 at RT, 13 at RG, 9 at C and 1 at LT).

Futures contracts go into effect on the first day of the new league year. Since there are no practice squads during the offseason, teams are allowed to sign players for the offseason as they prepare for the next season.
