Samari Rolle stole the show and the ball twice on Monday Night Football, and the Titans continued their roll by winning their seventh game in a row.

Rolle, **a second round pick by Tennessee in 1998**, returned the first of two interceptions of Brad Johnson 81 yards for a touchdown in a dramatic play as the first half ended to give the Titans a 20-7 lead at the break.

He notched his second interception just before the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter.  Although Rolle did not return the second pick any yards, he recorded it against his childhood hero Deion Sanders, while the Hall of Fame cornerback was working at receiver. Rolle finished the 2000 season with seven interceptions and was named All-Pro and made the Pro Bowl.

Interestingly, Johnson's next and final pass attempt of the game was thrown toward All-Pro cornerback Champ Bailey and intercepted by Dainon Sidney as time expired.

Derrick Mason scored Tennessee's first touchdown and gave the Titans a lead they wouldn't relinquish in the second quarter when he returned a punt 69 yards for a score, and Al Del Greco added field goals of 46 and 21 yards that period.

The impact plays on defense and special teams helped the Titans on a night when their offense totaled 189 yards, including 71 rushing yards on 22 carries by Eddie George. Steve McNair completed 14 of 18 passes for 96 yards but connected with Frank Wycheck for an 18-yard touchdown (Tennessee's longest pass completion of the game) and a 27-14 lead with 10:12 remaining.
