NASHVILLE – Titans running back Derrick Henry has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 6.

Henry rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries in the team's 34-31 win over the Bills on Monday night. Henry also added two receptions for 13 yards.

Henry, who scored on a 76-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, went over the 100-yard mark for the 28th time in his career in the contest.

It was also Henry's fifth consecutive 100-yard rushing game, giving him the longest streak of 100-yard games in his career (four in 2019). He tied Eddie George (1998) for the fourth-longest such streak in franchise history. The last NFL player with 100 rushing yards in five consecutive games was DeMarco Murray (eight) in 2014.

The 76-yard run in the second quarter was the third-longest touchdown run of Henry's career. The run was his fourth career rushing touchdown of at least 75 yards and his fifth overall touchdown of at least 75 yards (one receiving). He joined Chris Johnson (seven), Adrian Peterson (six), O.J. Simpson (five), Jamaal Charles (four), Tony Dorsett (four) and Barry Sanders (four) as the only players in NFL history with four or more rushing touchdowns of 75-plus yards.

Henry's three rushing touchdowns gave him 65 career rushing touchdowns. He passed Eddie George (64) for second place on the franchise rushing touchdowns list behind only Earl Campbell (73).

Henry notched his 31st consecutive game with at least 50 rushing yards, tying Seattle's Chris Warren (1993-95) for the second-longest such streak in the NFL since 1960. Only Kansas City's Priest Holmes, with 36 consecutive 50-yard rushing games from 2001 to 2003, had a longer streak in that period than Henry.

Henry also joined Eric Dickerson as the NFL' s only players since 1960 with 750 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns in the first six games of a season. Dickerson had 787 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns in the Rams' first six games of 1983.

In six games this season, Henry has 783 rushing yards, with 10 touchdowns.

The Titans face the Chiefs on Sunday at Nissan Stadium.
