Titans RB Derrick Henry Named AFC Offensive Player of the Month for October

NASHVILLE – Crown Titans running back Derrick Henry AFC Offensive Player of the Month for October.

Henry was named winner of the award on Thursday morning on NFL Network's Good Morning Football.

In the month of October, Henry averaged a league-high 114.7 rushing yards per game, totaling an AFC-high 344 yards on 61 attempts. His five rushing touchdowns in October led the conference and are tied for the NFL lead.

Henry's month included a 212-yard rushing performance in a win against the Texans, highlighted by a 94-yard touchdown run and a 53-yard reception in overtime to set up his game-winning touchdown run of five yards.

Henry also rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns in a win against the Bills, when his stiff-arm of Bills cornerback Josh Norman set social media ablaze. He had 75 yards and a touchdown against the Steelers.

Henry also won Player of the Month honors in December of 2018.

On the season, Henry has 663 yards and seven touchdowns in six games.

The Titans face the Bengals on Sunday in Cincinnati.
