NASHVILLE, Tenn. –** Marcus Mariota has been A-OK against the NFC.

In seven career games vs. NFC opponents, the Titans quarterback has thrown 18 touchdown passes vs. only three interceptions, with a passer rating of 121.4.

Mariota aims for his fourth game in a row vs. NFC with a 100-plus rating when the Titans face the Seahawks at Nissan Stadium on Sunday. Mariota, in his third NFL season, has never faced the Seahawks.

"I don't know," Mariota said on Wednesday when asked to explain his success vs. NFC teams. "I just go out there and play, don't really think about those kinds of things."

In Sunday's 37-16 win over the Jaguars, Mariota completed 15-of-27 passes for 215 yards, with a touchdown and an interception.

In addition to the Seahawks, the Titans will face the Cardinals, 49ers and Rams from the NFC, in December.

Seattle enters Sunday's game ranked No.15 in the NFL in total defense (23rd run, 10th pass).

"Obviously, it's new, it's a team we haven't played before," Mariota said. "The scheme is similar to a couple of teams we've played before, but at the same time it's not the same personnel. It's going to be different and we have to be ready for that.

"It's going to be a great challenge. They're a group that's been playing together for quite some time. We're really going to have to be prepared. We're looking forward to it, and can't wait to go out there and play."
