PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Titans have released fullback Jalston Fowler, and promoted linebacker Josh Carraway from the practice squad to take his place on the 53-man roster.
Carraway, a seventh-round draft pick from Texas Christian, gives the team additional depth at outside linebacker. On Friday, Titans coach Mike Mularkey ruled out veteran linebacker Derrick Morgan for Sunday's game with the Cardinals because of a knee injury.
Carraway (6-3, 242) registered a combined 17 sacks in his final two seasons at Texas Christian and became the first player to lead the Horned Frogs in sacks in consecutive years since former first-round pick Jerry Hughes in 2008-09.
Fowler, a 2015 draft pick by the team, was among the team's inactives the last two games. He's played in 42 NFL games, with seven starts.
The Titans face the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
