NASHVILLE – The Titans will be without a handful of players on Wednesday as they begin preparations for Sunday's game vs the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Titans interim head coach Mike McCoy said tight end Gunnar Helm, edge Arden Key and safety Amani Hooker won't practice today, in addition to those who have regularly been getting rest days on Wednesdays.

On Sunday, cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (Achilles) and receiver Van Jefferson (forearm) were also sidelined with injuries, but they have not been placed on Injured Reserve.

The Titans placed Bryce Oliver, Femi Oladejo, and edge rusher Ali Gaye on the team's Designated to Return to Practice list back on December 17.

This designation opened up a three-week window for all three players to practice with the team, and they will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.

McCoy said those players will be evaluated at the end of the week.

"They've worked their tails off," McCoy said. "They're just fighting through certain things to get ready, and we'll see where they are the next couple of days. Because with where we are, we might need them. So, we'll see."

We'll update all the injuries after today's practice, which is scheduled for 12:15-1:35 p.m. at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park.

The first injury report of the week will be released later today.
